Marjorie Welish

Artist/critic Marjorie Welish has exhibited extensively, including at the Denison University Museum, Granville, Ohio and at the Miami University Art Museum, Oxford, Ohio. She has received numerous grants and fellowships including: Adolf and Esther Gottlieb Foundation, Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts, The Fifth Floor Foundation and Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship. She has been artist-in-residence at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has received a Fulbright Senior Specialist Fellowship in art. Of the Diagram: The Work of Marjorie Welish compiles papers devoted to her writing and art, given at a conference in 2002, at the University of Pennsylvania. Welish has written a book of art criticism called Signifying Art: Essays on Art after 1960 and has written for various magazines including Art Monthly and Bomb magazine.


Oliver Gourvil

Paris-based artist Oliver Gourvil’s work has been exhibited in numerous galleries, art centres, and museums in France, including a series of shows in South Korea called ‘Tome 2’ at CJ ART Studio 2013, Artside Gallery and UM Gallery in 2014. His work has appeared at The International Studio and Curatorial Program, New York in 1999 and 2013 and other locations internationally. Oliver Gourvil has been an editor and author for publications including Correspondances (on the work of Marjorie Welish), Nouvelle Revue d’Esthétique (2011) and Journal of Contemporary Painting: Painting and Cinema (2015). Since 2010 he has been responsible for Réseau Peinture, an international research network devoted to contemporary painting which consists of an international group of twelve art schools, art centers and universities working together.


Muriel Pagès

Architect and urbanist Muriel Pagès is involved in various projects including the urban development of public spaces in the Bercy arrondissement of Paris. She won the social housing renovation commission at Porte de Clignancourt in the Grand Projet de Rénovation Saint Blaise. Pagès acts as advisor to the city of Montreuil in relation to urban strategy for the eco quartier des Hauts de Montreuil, which won an award in 2010. Pagès is consultant architect for the city of Boulogne-Billancourt and is regularly consulted in relation to the new bridge in Bordeaux (2010). Her works have been exhibited and published extensively.
